Anneka Parr was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, and began her dance training at age four.  She grew up in the competition dance world and eventually moved to Washington.  She left Reno with a Cecchetti Grade 5 Certification.

At 18 she joined 3rd Shift Dance Company in Seattle, Washington, and traveled and performed with the company; and also spent her time as a teaching assistant in the greater Puget Sound area.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and has received the award of Outstanding Dancer and Choreographer from the University.

Anneka is professionally trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and contemporary dance but is proficient in many other styles.  She is an award-winning choreographer and is excited to create and share her passion for the art of dance.
