Pricing Structure

Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card are accepted.

Registration Fee

A fee of $40 per dancer is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Tuition must be received by the 10th of each month to avoid a $10.00 late fee. Non-sufficient checks are subject to a $40.00 fine. Tuition is non-refundable once classes have begun. If you withdraw before the first class, you will receive a full refund of tuition. Receive a 7% discount if you have three or more immediate family members enrolled in our school. Receive a 10% discount on tuition with a valid military ID. If your family qualifies for more than one discount, only the largest discount will be applied. Discounts are applied manually, so please notify the front desk to have the discount applied.

Tuition Commitment

Tuition is paid in nine equal monthly installments, September through May. The rate remains the same whether it is a long (5 week) or short (3 week) month. Tuition is based on a full school year, which consists of about 34 classes held between September and May. Some months (especially those with school vacations, ie: Thanksgiving break, winter break, spring break and Memorial Day) may only have two or three classes while others may have five in a month’s time. Tuition is based on the total number of classes from September to May, so the monthly installment amount remains the same. There are no refunds for missed classes, makeup classes are encouraged.

Auto Pay Option

For your convenience, Studio West offers a monthly automatic tuition withdrawal from September through May and once for summer session in July. Visit the front desk for details.

SWDA Alumni Discount for College Students

SWDA students who dance with Studio West through their high school graduation, and are now enrolled in post-high school education, may take four free classes each year. Additional classes can be taken at the significantly reduced rate of $8.00 per class. Please inquire for more information.

Absences

Students are invited to make up any missed classes in another class that is appropriate. Consult teaching staff for recommendations. Make-up classes can be taken up to 3 months after the absence, as long as the student is still enrolled. There are no refunds for missed classes, makeup classes are strongly encouraged. When you are able to give us advanced notice of a prolonged absence (over 4 weeks), we may be able to offer half tuition to hold your dancer’s spot in a class, until your dancer can return.

Withdrawal Policy

30-day written notice is required before withdrawal from the school, otherwise your account will be charged accordingly.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the Olympia School District for closures.

Locker Rentals

Lockers are available to students who are taking three or more classes a week. Small and large lockers are available for an annual rental fee of $30. Available on a first-come first-serve basis.
